The Rosary
At St Peter's, devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary holds a central and cherished place in our school life. As our Mother, Mary plays a vital role in guiding us, comforting us, and bringing us closer to her son, Jesus. Through the Rosary, we reflect on her profound journey of faith and ask for her continued prayers and protection over our school family.
Our October and May Devotions During the special Marian months of May and October, our devotion comes alive through daily prayer:
-
As a Community: We gather together in the school hall as a whole community to pray the Rosary, uniting our voices in faith.
-
In the Classroom: This devotion continues daily within our classrooms, where children focus deeply on one decade of the Rosary each day, learning to meditate on the mysteries of Christ’s life.
Our Prayer Garden Our devotion to Mary is not limited to these special months. Throughout the entire school year, children have the opportunity to visit our peaceful school Prayer Garden. Here, they can take a quiet moment to pray the Rosary by themselves or gather in small groups to find peace and reflection in Mary's presence.
