A Message From Mrs Craft

Dear Parents/ Carers,
I hope you and your families have had an enjoyable and relaxing break. I would like to thank the staff and the parents that I have met so far for making me feel so welcome at St Peter’s. It was also lovely to visit the classes on Wednesday to meet the children; who are a credit to you all.
As you will be aware, the Diocese and Governors have asked me to support St Peter’s as Interim Executive Headteacher this term, while they continue to recruit a permanent Headteacher. Simultaneously, I am also continuing in the role as Headteacher of St Vincent’s in Dagenham. This requires me to share my time between both schools.
I am fortunate to have a strong Senior Leadership and Governing Body in both St Peter’s and St Vincent’s, plus the support of both Parish Priests, Fr Dominic Howarth and Fr Riq Fernandez.
If you need to contact me, I will be available at St Peter’s on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Please introduce yourself to me, whilst I am at the school gate at the beginning and end of the school day.
I look forward to meeting you.
Mrs Helen Craft
Prayer to St Peter
Blessed Apostle Peter who had the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Help us to open doors to learning.
Blessed Apostle Peter who Jesus asked to be a Shepherd to his people.
Help us to look after and care for each other.
Blessed Apostle Peter who was a fisherman and became a fisher of men.
Help us to spread the love of God in this school.
Amen
